The Basement Multi-Purpose Room

In the Basement, it is a large spacious carpeted room that is 3/4 of the size of the Main Hall. It  has its own separate side entrance. Now with access to Wi-Fi.


From £12.50 an hour for weekday, daytime bookings.

From £17.50 an hour for weekday evening bookings, 4.30 p.m. onwards.

From £25.00 an hour for Fridays (from 4.30 pm.), Saturdays and Sundays. 


There is a Minimum Booking of 1.5 hours to include arrival, setting up, the session, clearing away, and departure.


Morton Hall provide sanitising and disinfecting materials. However Hirers are responsible for sanitising and disinfecting pinch points eg door handles and plates,light switches, desks. You should bring disposable cups and plates if you wish to serve pre-prepared food/drinks, and remove all rubbish at the end of session, leaving the room ready for next hirer. Professional cleaners are attending more frequently.



This room is currently available for booking for a maximum of 18 participants plus 1 tutor/speaker for a seated meeting /training session with seats arranged in rows facing tutor, observing social distance of 2m between chairs and rows. Please leave seating layout as found. Can use additional space for practical work, observing 2m social distance.


An alternative to the Main Hall when not available, but is not suitable for Children's Parties or dance or exercise classes events requiring floor space only.


Can be equipped with a white board, flip chart holder, projector and screen on request.
