Morton hall is the largest community centre on the eastern side of Macclesfield. We are non-profit making registered charity run entirely by Volunteers. We are always grateful when new Volunteers come forward and spread the workload.
We need people to volunteer a little time and offer their skills to keep the hall open and serving our community. Perhaps you have been to a class here, or a social event, and would like to help us keep the hall running?
We need people who have some free time to check on things at the hall when needed, but also someone who can help with Marketing, Publicity, Graphic Design, as well as joining the team of Volunteers who occasionally Open and /or Close the Hall. for one-off events. Also a Regular Bookings Secretary, an experienced Minute Secretary able to attend our bi-monthly meetings, and an experienced Caterer to take care of our new commercial kitchen, and to promote it with our own In-house Events. From May 2019 we are also looking for a new Chairperson who will take the Hall forward into its 80th year
If you would like to help in any way, then please contact us via e-mail - firstname.lastname@example.org
To learn more about the Hall you can read the article about us in Macclesfield Express (29 May 2013), or read about the memories of the Morton Hall Reunion event organised by iMacc Youth Club on 20 July 2013 with over 200 people in attendance.
