All classes are taken by me, Katie Shelley. I am a qualified fitness instructor, specialising in pre- and postnatal exercise and I am also a fully qualified Mummy!

At Fit 4 Mummy we use resistance training, using hand weights and body weight, to strengthen and tone the postnatal body. All of the exercises are specifically designed for the post-natal body, with an emphasis on key areas, such as the back, core and pelvic floor.

None of the exercises involve running, jumping or are high impact and we avoid certain non-appropriate exercises such as sit ups or crunches.

You can choose the level you want to work at, depending on your fitness level recovery or level of tiredness that day!

I am on hand, both to ensure your form and technique is good and to help you with your little one, should you need me to. My main aim is to make sure you get the most out of your session!

Community Coffee Morning

First Friday of each month, 9am–11.30am.

Next date: 6th July 2018.

Everyone is welcome to our monthly Community Coffee Morning! Whether you are a local resident or someone interested in hiring the Hall for your class or event, you are welcome to come and have a chat with other local residents and Hall users while our volunteers serve coffee, tea, and cakes. The Coffee Mornings are also an opportunity to talk with us about the Hall and your ideas about how you would like to use it.

Please note, although entry is FREE, we welcome donations for tea/coffee/cakes/and biscuits. The proceeds will go towards the maintenance of the hall. We also sometimes try to raise funds by selling books, CDs, DVDs, toys, etc. and with our Tombola

Our local Independent Cheshire East Councillor for Macclesfield East Ward
Cllr Mick Warren may run his surgery. Sometimes there is also a Police Surgery going on during the event.

"I would recommend anyone to come to a yoga class and have a go. I only began about nine months ago, my breathing has improved, I feel more supple even though I have arthritis in both my knees, and I always feel better for having done it. Come and have a go its BRILLIANT !!!!" Mo

"I have a sore back, which often is very tight - I can feel the difference the yoga exercises have made already after a few weeks." Amanda

"My mental well being has improved and I am less likely to feel stressed at work." Lesley

"For years I've suffered with back problems and since doing yoga with the stretching techniques it's improved dramatically. Things like gardening and looking after my 1year old Grandson are so much easier." Jane

"I really enjoy coming to yoga and wish I had done it years ago, I always thought it was for slim people and as I am overweight thought I couldn't do it I have quite surprised myself. I even find I want to practice it at home." Jude

"I practically float out of the class each week as I feel totally relaxed & very mellow!" Kate
